Thought I'd start this as a general, nonspecific message topic to :

1. Say Hello! to everybody out there. I'm amazed to find the site is up and looking so good. Congrats to Jon and anyone else involved. I'd be glad to hear from anyone in the group (and Jon can provide my email). Will get to updating my profile soon.

2. Give folks a heads-up that I had problems trying to register using Netscape, so I switched to IE and had no problems. Not sure what that was about..

Hi All.

It looks like I'm the newest member of your group. My name is Steve and I'm a collector of posters, books, ephemera and tokens... and a very amateur magician.

Looking forward to meeting (at least electronically) all the other members, exchanging info, working trades and all that good stuff.

Some of my tokens are listed on my website http://www.bedwetters.com/magic/tokens.html and you're all welcome to stop by. BTW, bedwetters is a term we use in some fantasy football leagues I run to refer to guys who complain about their rotten luck. I have a couple unknown tokens there too that I could use some help identifying...

Thanks, Steve

Nice website.
Some of the photos on the darker tokens were hard to see. Maybe a little more flash when photoing.
What program did you use on your website? Could it be Frontpage, created by MTS own RF?

Actually I run the site...the pics are donated by members and come from many sources...since we have so many to get loaded in...we are first trying to get them all up and listed and then over time will try to upgrade them....if you have any tokens please email them to me...thats always a help...thanks coinhelp@yahoo.com

Joe,
I was referring to Shemp's website (three messages above this one). Photos in your website look great! Great format.

Thanks mrmagician. I actually just laid the coins down on my scanner and got the images that way. Maybe I can spend some time and take real pictures with proper lighting in the future.

As for the site itself... I'm using a freeware package called Webmaster that has since become the CoffeeCup HTML Editor (http://www.coffeecup.com/html-editor/). I try not to use Microsoft stuff, whenever possible.
